Grunts
I was in the US Navy, but I was one of the odd sailors who spent my entire enlistment at ground bases, primarily at air fields. During my first tour in Viet Nam, I had a chance to get to know the Marines and Soldiers who guarded our planes and ourselves.
It is to them I dedicate this page. Most of the pictures on this page were take by me. Unlike most 'squids' (sailors), I had the opportunity to go out on patrols with our guards. I went. Not because I was brave, but because I thought it was my duty. Why should I expect someone else to do something I'm not willing to do myself?

These last two shots are not of Grunts, but rather of a couple of the bravest guys who fought in the Viet War.

Thanks, Guys...
